Fossils from Wyoming, Montana, and Around the World
Curtis Talbot became fascinated with geology at the age of eight when he began is first rock collection. He later turned his passion into a career. He has over 40 years of experience as a professional geologist working for companies such as Shell, Exxon, and Marathon.
Over the years, Curt amassed an extensive collection of rocks, fossils, and minerals. A majority of his collection consists of specimens from Wyoming and Montana but also contains pieces from as far away as Morocco, Russia, and Argentina.
Curt displays part of his amazing collection every year at our show. We are privileged to have him spend some time with us and share his vast knowledge of fossils.
